Paul Darrow is the actor who played Kerr Avon in the series. He was a friend of Terry Nation who wrote the original series and he has always supported fan events. He wrote this book to give his interpretation of the background to the story of Avon, the cold-hearted computer genius who ended up heading to a penal colony after being convicted of computer fraud.
